James graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 1995 with a BSc(Hons) in Real Estate Management and since then worked for some of the top property companies in Central London, gaining valuable experience from some of the best and most respected players in the industry. He has 15 years of property development and asset management experience on projects of all shapes and sizes and varying degrees of complexity.

James was at St George plc for five years, the development arm of Howard de Walden Estates, Welbeck Land Ltd, for 5 years and City & West End Property Group for one year. In 2006 he co-founded Walbrook Land Ltd. In 2010 James set up Chiltington Land Ltd.

James has an enviable track record of project experience which covers all sectors and all sizes and has worked on completed projects with an end value totalling circa £1billion.

Ken has approaching 30 years experience in the property industry working on the landlord / developer side of projects with a combined end value exceeding £3billion. He has worked within the retail, office and residential sectors, including a number of large mixed-use urban regeneration projects.

For over 20 years, Ken has run his own successful business focusing on new start-up projects or solving under performing property assets, helping to quickly turn them around and drive through consistent and profitable growth. Clients include developers, landlords, pension funds and banks.

Project experience includes; Broadgate, King’s Cross, Marylebone Village Regeneration (The Howard de Walden Estate), Regent Street Direct (The Crown Estate), Hammersmith Embankment (Barclays Pension Fund), Thames Gateway (Communities & Local Government) and Docklands.

Previously, Ken was the Business Development Director at the Prudential and Rosehaugh.

Edward is responsible for project delivery and brings a wealth of project management experience. He has over 17 years experience in the construction industry and has been responsible for a number of high profile schemes in Mayfair, St James’ and The City as well as other projects in Birmingham, Cambridge and Bristol. 

Over the years, Edward has advised Pension Funds, Property Companies, Developers and other clients, successfully delivering commercial, residential, retail, mixed-use and industrial schemes. Many of these were complicated projects in confined inner city locations involving listed buildings and buildings behind retained facades.

Edward has worked on schemes totalling an end value of circa £750million and an area of over 3million sqft.

The wealth of marketing experience that Richard brings to Chiltington Land has been gained over more than 20 years as a board director of one of the UK's top five business-to-business advertising agencies and over 15 years in his own successful marketing consultancy.

Companies and organisations across a wide spectrum of industry sectors have relied on his expertise in promoting their products and services to make a significant contribution to their growth and profitability. He has worked in the areas of property development, construction, commercial and residential property marketing, as well as a diverse mix of other sectors from telecommunications to travel.

His skills in strategic planning and marketing communications, through press and public relations, advertising and print including other forms of media is of considerable benefit to Chiltington Land and their clients. This provides an invaluable edge to the promotion of specific projects to targeted marketplaces.
